**Unit 2. Fractions, Decimals and Percents**

This unit covers changing decimals to fractions by writing what we say, and changing fractions to decimals by finding equivalent fractions, by dividing the numerator by the denominator, and by memorizing benchmark fractions. Also covered are converting percents to fractions and vice versa, converting percents to decimals and vice versa by using equivalent fractions and by moving the decimal. Other topics include percents greater than 100% and less than 1%, finding percent of a number using bar graphs, proportions, and multiplying by a decimal, solving percent problems, and the connections among fractions, decimals, and percents.
